Clapham Runners is a small friendly club set up in 2005. Paula Coates and Graham Anderson both physiotherapists and runners of the London Marathon 2004 wanted a club supporting runners in all aspects of training, injury prevention and manage niggles and running problems as they emerge.

Clapham Runners are based at Balance Physiotherapy and have members of all abilities, age and experience. The club is aimed at runners wanting to improve speed and endurance. The weekly coached session (Thursdays) is led by Jon Munroe - a qualified trainer and former Commonwealth long jumper. Building up to peak for the London, Paris marathons and other events features in members interest and motivation but the training and coaching caters for all comers and interests as well as those recovering from injury throughout the year
